In Mozambique we have used Lexique Pro extensively for creating documents, web sites and distributable lexicons. It has worked very well for us with a few caveats. The output to documents creates a lot of grief if you try to change the formatting at all. Allision about went crazy trying to make minor changes to the format of the RTF documents. Another area where LP breaks down is when you work with a lot of languages in a single lexicon. We have a Vocabularies of Mozambique file that has English, Portuguese and 16 other languages. There are various problems that this causes in getting the LP files set up and then outputting them in usable ways.
Even so, we've found it good for entry-level lexicographers and for basic projects.
For editing of databases we still use Toolbox and limit the use of LP to display and output to various formats.
